ANNOUNCING...

Word is spreading of our exciting announcement... Baby #2 ...on its way mid-October!! (Here is baby at 13 weeks. With the new Down Syndrome testing, which they didn't do when I was prego with Paige, we were able to see the baby at 13 weeks. All is looking good so far.) I am delighted to finally be on the outs with the morning/all-day sickness and on to my second trimester. I am just over 14 weeks and starting to feel the effects of other parts of pregnancy...especially in my basketball abilities...not that I'm that great, but I am struggling more than usual! And you may find me looking a bit more frazzled than usual in nursery! Paige is somewhat aware of the new baby and thinks Chris has a baby in his tummy too! She will be about two weeks shy of a 3-year old when this one makes its debut and I'm excited to have an independent toddler: Paige is potty-trained, she can feed herself, she can dress herself, and she absolutely loves babies. Recap of Spring Fun!

We've had a fun two weeks. Besides me being sick with crazy stuff (flu/cough/pink eye/sinus headaches and eye pain), Paige and Chris have managed to stay healthy and we've enjoyed two fun weekends in a row. Two weeks ago we were in Yakima to see Chris' family. We enjoyed Conference Sunday with Uncle Karl and Aunt Jana who fed us until we could eat no more. Uncle Karl spoiled Paige and took her for fun rides on his tractor and 4-wheeler! She had an uneasy look on her face for all the pics, but she never wanted to get off. Thanks to Chris' parents and Uncle Karl and Aunt Jana for a great weekend! This past weekend, my brother's family came to visit from Vancouver. The weather was the best we've had in months!! Friday night the adults went to the Mariner's Game and had FABULOUS seats, 10 rows up from the dirt right between home plate and the M's dugout. We had a great time without our kids!!
