Day 2 - Disneyland

We were up at the Magic Kingdom nice and early on Day two. The girls were really excited for all that awaited them here. There is so much more to do and I felt a little off my game that I didn't have a master plan, but I really did want to be spontaneous and take the kids' lead. In the end it all worked out pretty well. First up was Peter Pan, which was a major score with the wheelchair because they don't make you wait in line, they just give a "return time" for which you show up at the exit and get right on. We hit the rest of Fantasyland while we waited for our return time and then scooted up to Toon Town to see the Mr. and Mrs. of Disney. Another major highlight for Meg, but for reals...who doesn't want to see Mickey and Minnie?! She also really enjoyed the roller coaster there...and rode it a few times back to back. Day 1 - California Adventure

I had been lamenting all summer we didn't plan a trip to Disneyland...Meg became infatuated with princesses over the summer months (wearing multiple costumes each day) and I knew she was ripe for the magic of that place. So when the job change decision was made, we carved out a short time in between end/start dates to hop to California for two fun-filled days at the Happiest Place on Earth. We weren't too thrilled about managing a wheelchair and a stroller, but we felt out of options with Paige's broken foot. It ended up working out fine and we had a few perks in the Disneyland Park because of it.  We realized rather quickly that California Adventure doesn't have a ton of toddler rides right now, due to the closing of Bugs Land. She ended up enjoying more character visits and sweet treats while we would wait here and there for the older girls.
