Christmas Fun
A quick recap of most of the fun we crammed in during December...
Sugar Cookies
Another Santa visit at our Ward Christmas Party
I accompanied Paige's choir in their Christmas concert. It was a really difficult challenge for me and required a lot of practice time. In the end it brought a special memory for us both. I was grateful for the opportunity to share the stage and support her!!
The Nativity Festival
The Redmond Lights Art Festival. It was our first year visiting this event and we had such a nice time!
Journey to Bethlehem with the Morgans in Auburn. We had missed this the year prior and it was nice to return to this experience inside Bethlehem and ponder on the birth of Christ and the reason for the season.
We donated toys to the Fire Department when they drove through our neighborhood.
Paige asked to address my Christmas cards. Check check!
Meg wanted to be under the mistletoe a lot. She is so sweet!
Once Grandma arrived into town (Gpa to come a bit later), we had lots of fun activities!
We met Jonni and Covey at Snowflake Lane.
We enjoyed a late night event watching David Archuletta. I didn't realize when I bought the tickets a few months prior that (1) this event was at a bar, and (2) it was standing room only. We rolled with the punches, even after standing out in the literal pouring rain to get through the door. We had an awesome time. Meg was one of the youngest there (it started at 9pm and went well past her bedtime), but she got a lot of attention as she danced and sang on Chris' shoulders in the back. The older three girls and I shimmied to the front to get a closer view. The girls ended up just behind the VIPers. I kept my eye on them and we all just got cozy with the people around us. It was such a unique experience and fun memory! David made us laugh, cry, dance and sing while we enjoyed his beautiful music that brought a nice spirit to our holiday.
Photo taken around midnight...she obviously rocked it.
I hosted the piano recital for my students and Julie's students (most of them are hers). We decorated cookies afterward together. So proud of my girls and their continued hard work in practicing and filling our home with beautiful music!
Love this bestie of mine!
Christmas Sunday with family!
We made orange baskets for my neighbors.
Decorated gingerbread houses after Grandpa arrived!
Always a puzzle going on...
Musical ornaments fun
And a small home project in our mud room. It was ready just in time for our couples White Elephant party, which was a complete highlight...and as per usual, I didn't take a single picture because we were having way too much fun!
