Memorial Day 2017

Image
We had a splendid Memorial Day at Vantage with Uncle Karl and Aunt Jana! They are the best and we are always so grateful we get to play on the boat. The weather was gorgeous, we couldn't have asked for better weather. We spent Saturday and Monday playing with our extended family. We had a hard time convincing Brynn to get behind the boat...(this proved to be true throughout the rest of the summer...she would only tube!).  Nothing like a sleeping baby on a boat! Makes a mom sooo happy (plus extra sunggles!).  Paige is becoming quite the pro on the wakeboard. So proud of her for getting wet even when that water was frigid cold!  Meg enjoyed the beach and all the "nacks" (snacks).  Grandma with the three "triplets" - Meg, Coop and Evelyn, all born within five months of each other.

Spring Moments...

Blog Catch up time!! I hope I can get caught up before the chaos of the Christmas holiday. [[It seems I only blog in the Spring and the Fall...haha. Life is just getting so hectic!]]  Here are some highlights of the Spring: Dalley sisters gathering with my mom at a hotel in Centralia. Kids had a blast with cousins. Meg initially, wouldn't get in that dang pool (she was really water shy until the end of the summer), but thanks to Camille, she got her in the water. Finley chopped her hair!!  She was ecstatic at the lack of brushing requirements afterwards and being able to wear it "down" during the day and at school! Low maintenance girl, for sure.   Brynn and Paige had an Activity Day Recognition Night. Since Paige was one of the older girls, she got to conduct and help run the evening. She also accompanied the girls on the piano while they sang a song. They each presented three things that described them.  Brynn: Artwork, the cape she ...

Meg at 20 Months

I didn't quite get Meg's pics taken at 18-months, but grateful we found a sunny day to get some cute pics. This is one of the more difficult ages to photograph, but I was grateful we captured a few good ones. Here is her 20-month update.  Favorites are chocolate milk, crackers, strawberries, "nan-gees" (candy), popcorn, sidewalk chalk and books. Adores her sisters and calls them all by name, also yells at them to "go away" when they are suffocating her or stealing her mom. Super attached to mom. She wants me to put her to bed each night and snuggle and sing to her. We sing "Dear Theodosia" and read a book or two solo before she gets put into her bed. She's my first baby that really relishes snuggle time and I'm soaking it up! She is a more fearful child than my other kids. Especially bugs, worms, chewbacca, and car washes.  Her temperament is improving (yay!). She is making up for the first 12 months of her life. Still other days...
