Sunriver, Oregon Vacation - Part 2

Sunriver has an impeccable view of Mt. Bachelor. This was actually taken on the drive down, but man, we really enjoyed the beauty of this place. While Chris was in morning meetings the girls and I usually stayed close to the resort and soaked up the beauty, most always along the miles of biking trails. The perk of Sunriver is bikes aren't actually allowed on the main roads because they have their own access through the trails. It makes the transit with the kids so stress-free and easy.  Meg absolutely adores being in her bike seat. The girls are all amazing riders.  Chris squeezed in a solo round of golf while there and Brynn got an alone date with dad for a sunset round. It was her first time golfing and she was a natural. Sunriver, Oregon Vacation - Part 1

An opportunity came up in late May for Chris to attend a small Continuing Education conference in Sunriver, Oregon. It was last minute and a true blessing when we were able to book the last condo in the resort. The timing was perfect and our family desperately needed some time away. It's moment's like these we count as blessings from God, and we were grateful.  We spent Sunday (Father's Day) in Yakima (more to come on that in the next post) and then headed south that evening. We stopped at the Stonehenge Replica on the Columbia River spontaneously since I had no idea this place existed and Chris swears that he and I have stopped here before. It's safe to say I would remember...look at that view of Mt. Hood. Gorgeous! It was a perfect pit stop for our screaming Meg (who happened to scream the next 2 out of 3 hours to our final destination...haha).
