The end of the school year is always packed with a slew of activities. We love celebrating our kids' accomplishments for the year and spending time with them, but it is a little hectic on the schedule (especially because we were still managing softball at this point as well).  At the end of May Finley participated in her Kindergarten musical. It was darling and refreshing since the music program changed to something different from what both Paige and Brynn had done when they were in Kindy. Finley loved it.  (She's in the back row here...) Paige's team had a great year and dominated her time during the week (4 days, at least, and a lot of traveling this year!). Brynn was in an official softball league this year, so likewise, her schedule commitments ramped up also. She was thrilled for the start of the softball cheers and chants and was often the leader in the dugout. We had a particularly rainy season, so a number of games had to be rescheduled and lots of shuffling went on to accommodate that!   It was almost the end of the season before I realized both girls were number 3. Haha. Paige was required to have a facemask on her helmet for batting this year. Most of the girls are wearing masks in the field to protect their beautiful faces. Paige eventually adjusted to it and managed it fine. Paige got a few games at the end of the season where she was on the pitching mound. So tough but she did a great job! Brynn got on the mound quite a bit this season. She is a good all-around player, ...

These two girls finished up another 6 months of dance. Brynn took a ballet class and is coming along really well, and Finley took a ballet/jazz class, which ended up being more jazz than ballet. Dancing to Katy Perry isn't my favorite, but I digress. Love my girls in their cute costumes.  I captured a few contraband photos of Brynn during her performance, but I had some camera malfunctions and missed Finley's (grrrr). Stuff like that bums me out, but oh well.  Paige and Brynn had a great cheering squad! Earlier that morning Paige had a softball game. While I was playing dance mom, Chris took Meg with him to the softball game to watch Paige. It turns out the softball officials were short-handed, so Chris had to umpire. Meg sat on the bench watching the game the ENTIRE time. She literally didn't move. And then she came and endured a 2.5 hour recital. It was seriously a miracle!!!
