April Highlights

April highlights... Brynn's Battle of the Books group won at their school and competed at the District competition. Paige participated in the Jazz Festival with the local jazz choirs. Covey Randall Hill was born! We got a special visit when he was a few days old. Softball season started. Some babies didn't survive the evening adjustment. Easter Weekend was full of crazy. It included our local egg race/brunch, followed by the girls' Pinewood Derby and then outdoor egg dying. We had a lovely Easter morning. We took pics and had a small hunt in the backyard after church and then hosted the Morgans for Easter dinner along with the Sister Missionaries. Utah in April

We drove straight to my sister's house in St George and the kids woke up to cousins!! And here for the record is my apology to my sister...for completely distracting her kids and making it difficult for all to follow General Conference. I repented for that. It won't happen again. ;) My kids were on Spring Break that week, but not the Pettingills, so we tried to soak up the moments they weren't in school. And played in the pool while they were gone. Tough, right?  Paige brought lunch to Addy at school one day.  Paige did a lot of babysitting while we were there while we took care of a few odd and end funeral tasks and also some shopping and eating out. I went out with my parents and sister to treat Grandma on what would have been she and Grandpa's 66th Anniversary. We took a trip to the Gunlock Reservoir.
