February - March Update
Life in the Northwest is pretty gloomy through April. Today is officially the first day of Spring, which some would equate to sunshine and warm breezes...but it's raining (no surprise) and the wind is bitter cold. Had it not been for mine and Chris' trip in January, I would be huddled by the fire in the fetal position. Somehow that little break seems to make the grey easier to manage and endure. It took me a while to settle into 2012. Our holiday spilled into January, we had our getaway trip to Thailand, and my grandpa's funeral in early February. This past month or so has been more of normal "stuff", which doesn't mean I'm on the couch watching TV all day, but just that we trek through our weekly schedule and things are more laid back.
