Meg Turns O.N.E.

Image
This little lady turned one years old...I will save my sappy "I can't believe this first year is over!" note for the end, so here are all the cool, cute and darling pics of Meg on her first birthday!! First up...physical stats: Weight: 19.0 lbs (37%) Height: 30.3 inches (87%) Head Circumference: 17.6" (46%) The morning of her birthday I gave her a mini-celebration because we were putting off her big cake smash until the next day. She got an eggo waffle (her favorite...don't judge...she's my 4th kid.) and showed off her personality for the camera. Our family was supposed to have pictures taken that evening, but the entire day was one big deluge. The photographer and I decided to move it to the following day. Family Pictures 2016

Another year, another round of family portraits. We had booked my longtime friend, Kali, who has always done our pics, but at the last minute she had to cancel. And I was pleased with how they turned out.     All three of the older girls fought incessantly on who got to hold Meg. It's n.o.n.s.t.o.p.

August Wrap-Up

Our Hendricks Reunion and Disney trip took most of August, but the beginning and ending of the month brought a few fun summer adventures to finish of the season. One of my personal faves is Seafair and watching the Blue Angels. We met up with the Warnings and my friend, Rachel, joined along with her two kids, too. We had a great group!   Love this pic of Rachel and I with my niece, Gwen, straggling along in the background. She was the last one off the I-90 bridge!  Personal police escort on the way back.  The show is super amazing. Loved it! Meg adventures... Soccer begins and it was Finley's first season! She was so excited!  Meg in the dirt. She was a little tricky to have tag along this season... Monday night before school started we went to the pool for our second to last visit! (We went one more time and had a family diving board competition...I don't have pictures of that, but I won.)  We BBQ'd at the p...
