Dance

Another dance recital, but this year was special for two reasons: (1) It was Meg's first year and, (2) Brynn and Finley were in the same dance lyrical class this year.  Meg was the cutest EVER. She loved her dance, her costume and her bow at the end. She was all smiles on the dance floor. Not a nerve in sight to deter her performance! And the older two really made strides in this new genre. Their teacher, Saige, is so amazing. Love this crew! Love supporting and celebrating them!

January Wrap Up

Highlights of January:   Chris took Finley and Meg to Colorado for Cousin Cole's baptism. The girls loved being with their cousins and having some special time with Dad! He gets loads of attention flying solo with his girls.  I finally got all the Christmas decorations put away. The cards are always the last thing to come down...Christmas love in the mail is probably one of my most favorite parts of the holidays. Along with the Christmas put away, I went a bit crazy on reorganizing every nook and cranny of my downstairs. It felt amazing! I finally got all our Blu Rays and DVDs out of cases and into small sleeves in bins ALL together (we had stuff upstairs and down and in a semi-order). This one made me happy! We took a quick weekend trip down to Vancouv...

September Misc.

With school starting and our trip to Disneyland, September flew in a flash...but we had some fun adventures to remember this month. First was the gathering of church members at Safeco Field to hear from our beloved prophet, President Russell M. Nelson. We also heard from his wife and President Eyring. This was the largest gathering of Saints ever in Seattle with something like 49,000 people in attendance! It was a crazy day with two soccer games, finishing the BYU game with my bro and his fam (who came for the gathering and stayed through Sunday...we loved having them!) and Chris was super wrapped up in a funeral, so we were a little delayed in getting to the stadium when we should have, but thanks to a few friends from our ward, we had primo seats on the club level (soft seats!) right near the skybridge. These weren't the most ideal seats for viewing (although they were pretty good), but they were ideal for leaving. We were out of downtown in record time...10 minutes, picked up C...
