New Year's Celebrations
This year for New Year's Eve, Chris and I decided to go out. We haven't gone out for NYE since well before we had kids. Maybe even before we were married. It just seems comfortable to stay home and chill. But this year I had movies and activities in mind...so we got one of our awesome babysitters to come play with the kids, and we were off! They had their own "Ring in the New Year" at about 9pm. Here they are before we left: We ventured out with our good friends, Julie and Rob, to the gun range. We had a blast! Chris got a new gun just after Christmas, so we wanted to go try it out. We also shot Rob's handguns. Julie is a bit on the pregnant side and opted to hang in the waiting room...which was fine, because I like to shoot for about 15-20 minutes and then I'm ready to bail. So Julie and I chatted outside the range until the boys had their fill (or ammo ran out...). We headed to dinner at Maggiano's and enjoyed Celebration Lane on Bellevue Way. Then ...
