December Knocking...

Image
How have I gone so long without blogging?? And I was doing so well at staying caught up!! Honestly, nothing too earth shattering has happened, but I do have a lot of Thanksgiving pictures to post... I will just give you this little cell phone pic preview... We've had sooo much snow, here in Seattle the early part of the week of Thanksgiving, and then while we were in Yakima. It took my husband almost six hours to get home from work last Monday!  But with the snow, the girls have been in/out/in/out/in/out enjoying it!  They loved building this giant snowman with daddy while in Yakima. I will post more pics soon, but with December almost here, life starts to get a little hectic....and FUN!!!  I can't wait for a fun-filled December!!  We are staying home and enjoying our family and the joy of a simpler holiday...less presents, more activities...that is my goal for now and we're doing well so far! Christmas decorations go up tomorrow...tree cut down on Saturda...

BYU Roommate Reunion/Wedding

Image
Last weekend I headed off on a plane to the east coast. The last of my bestest BYU girlfriends was getting married in the Washington D.C. Temple. The roommates arranged for a reunion of sorts and we were reunited for four days of fun!!  The bride! Her dress was made by her skilled, brave and dedicated mother...including all the beadwork.  Simply breathtaking. I love this girl! A frigid, but beautiful day Events leading up to the big day: A morning stroll, shopping and lunch through Frederick, Maryland (where four of us stayed).  What a CUTE town!! We had a quick dinner with the bride's family that evening in Virginia and then stole a few moments with Ann for ice cream and a short little chat back at her new apartment. The next days was PREP day - Kim tasked me with the pumpkin art. I drew a tree, a "J", "&" and an "A".  Annmarie's dad carved the tree, and Amber painted the letters. It was a group effort...and they turned out great (see f...

Team Pink

Image
The news today is more PINK  is on the way! We are excited about adding another girl to our fam.  No matter how many kids, the ultrasound is still exhilarating.  It's exciting to see the baby formed, alive and kicking. It's truly miraculous. I was teary when the tech said, " It looks like a girl! "  ...just as emotional as when we found out about our other girls. And she is precious. We saw her yawn twice and it was just as if she was right in front of us. And now the question is this: Paige looks like Chris, Brynn looks like me, what will baby #3 look like? Too bad we have 20 more weeks to wait and see! Cheers to being over the HALFWAY mark!!

Baby Jett!

Image
I alluded to this adorable baby a few posts ago... It's our newest nephew, Jett Robert Dalley .  We got to go visit in Vancouver for a day before I left town. I don't need to type much, these photos speak for themselves... Brynn actually asked to hold him. Maybe she'll be okay with a new baby in our house...?  I said maybe. We love cousins! He was 5 1/2 pounds here...such a TINY thing!! Heaven.

In Case You Were Wondering...

Image
No, I've not gone on a food binge, there's actually a baby inside this bump: This is my 19-week pregnant self. Honestly, just the mere idea of baby #3 has been a difficult concept, but we are getting more adjusted to the idea. As crazy as it STILL sounds to me, we will be expecting this little bundle in early April (actual due date is March 29th).   We will know the baby's gender next week...and we are anxious for this little piece of information. Chris and I are divided on our "hopes"...I'm sure you can figure out who wants what. But after having a niece born last Friday and a nephew born last Saturday, I think either will be a wonderful blessing.   NOTE: I am posting on my prego blog again.  I've actually been blogging on there for quite some time but haven't actually posted the drafts. I will do that this week sometime and give another link on my sidebar...let me know if you're interested in following the nitty-gritty details of this preg...

Halloween 2010 Recap

Image
Why does Halloween include sooo many activities?! It's almost as many as Christmas only crammed into way less time. So here is a LONG post of some of our festivities the week of Halloween: School field trip on a miserabl y rainy day. I laid in my bed that morning listening to the rain pour down and questioned my sanity on taking my kids to the patch. Chris almost dragged me out of bed. It was muddy and windy, but we had a slight reprieve here when we actually picked out the pumpkins. I didn't even take my camera it was sooo rainy.  These are cell phone pics. This girl rarely even LOOKS at the camera. I love when I can catch her crazy personality! That night for FHE we carved! Paige drew her face and I cut it out as she had drawn.  Brynn wanted a silly face! School party! More treats and time to wear costumes. This was Paige's actual birthday and we had our little dilly bar party that night (see previous post). Inside the building at the ward Trunk-or-Treat Thanks t...
