Thanksgiving in Ridgefield, WA
We celebrated Thanksgiving in Ridgefield this year at my brother and SIL's new beautiful house. We were so excited to spend some extended time with them! In preparation I had the girls fill out their "Tickets to Thanksgiving" - lists of of things they are grateful for. Some years we do better at our Thanksgiving prep than others and this was one of those last minute sort of years. We drove down on Wednesday afternoon with the rest of the Seattle exodus, but it was worth it once we arrived and had a fun evening all together with Pettingills too. Cousin heaven! Thursday the moms were up and had a busy morning of prep, but it's fun to be together! The funny moment of the day was realizing we cooked the turkey upside down, which is quite hilarious since between the three of us we've cooked over 20 turkeys. Hah.
