A typical very busy May... Paige attended her first Youth Conference out on the Peninsula. Mother's Day weekend I had PRK surgery on my eyes. It's like Lasik but takes a super annoyingly long time to regain your sight. I couldn't drive for about 10 days and for the first 4-5 days could hardly be in the light. I was like a vampire hiding from the sun...so unbearable. I was so grateful after about day 10 things started to improve enough that I felt safe driving and could manage the sun a bit. At my four-month check I had healed 100% and have 20/15 vision. It is such a blessing to wake up every day and SEE!!! The weather warmed and Paige started to use her bike as a means to freedom driving down to Torguson often and meeting me there for practices. One afternoon we took a ride together to go pick up the Suburban and caught an ice cream cone on the way. Soaking in the moments with this teenager... Brynn's art was on display at the District Sho...
