We hadn't been up to the mountain all season due to lack of snow and a bit of a crazy schedule. We decided New Years was the day to go. We knew there hadn't been new snow in quite a while and were hopeful there would be enough snow to sled...and it was just enough.  First parenting fail of 2015: We park the car on the mountain and Chris and I have the following conversation: Me: " Chris, where is Fin's coat? "  Chris: " Didn't you grab it? "  Me: " No! I thought you grabbed it when you got her in the car. " Chris: " Nope." So...Paige was the most prepared (as usual) with a few sweatshirts and we asked if she would sacrifice her top coat...which we had Brynn wear, and Finley wore Brynn's top coat. It worked out. Too funny. But because of the rotation in coats I kept mixing my kids up... The big hill was pretty crowded but we got in some great runs! I love this girl with her wispy h...

We rang in 2015 family style at our dear friends, The Morgans. We kindly let them host all the parties since they have a baby usually sleeping. It's a nice perk that we just come and make a mess and then leave. :)  The chocolate dippers were a hit with the kids. And me...I kept sneaking over and enjoying the yuminess.  Finley is still not on the chocolate bandwagon and eats the goodies plain.  Julie had lots of games planned: nerf wars, charades (which the kids really got into after they figured it out), and the littles found a box to color and enjoyed that! At about 11pm, most of the adults were really waffling and trying to stay awake, but we rallied for the big countdown with the kids! Thanks, Julie! For an amazing night! Not sure what I would do without this lady as my friend!
